Rural and regional physicians and specialists, nurses, nurse practitioners, allied healthcare practitioners, administrators, and health educators are all invited to learn about rural medicine, including emergency medicine, hands-on skills enhancement, interprofessional team practice, and wilderness medicine.
Conference-associated courses will be offered to participants in three communities:
- Quesnel will host The CARE Course ahead of the conference. [UPDATE: This course is fully subscribed.]
- Vanderhoof will offer CASTED as well as the Wilderness Medicine course after 2016 RECC
- Prince George will host Shock as a pre-conference course and HOUSE as a post-conference course. A UBC preceptor faculty development workshop will also be offered in Prince George ahead of the conference. [UPDATE: Both the Shock and House courses are full.]
