The Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) provides funding for undergraduate medical students with rural practice experience.
REAP programs for undergraduate MD students include:
- Year 3 Undergraduate Rural Participation program
- Year 4 Undergraduate Rural Elective program
- Sponsored Events and Rural Conferences
- British Columbia Rural Interest Award
REAP was established as a result of the Rural Practice Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), and is managed by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC).
There are several continuing medical education programs supported by REAP. Click here to see a list of all REAP programs.
