ROCCi is a new instant access Real-Time Virtual Support (RTVS) pathway for healthcare providers for healthcare collaboration in rural and remote communities in BC.

The ROCCi team includes rural internists and intensivists. When the line launches on October 15, 2024, the pathway will provide internal medicine and critical care support that is tailored specifically for rural healthcare providers.
Support includes:
- help with assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients;
- internal medicine assessment;
- help with procedures that are less familiar to you;
- a second set of eyes;
- help in navigating the healthcare system including patient transfer;
- providing collaborative support;
- running through simulation scenarios;
- other situations as needed by rural providers
Nurses at nursing outpost stations can call ROCCi directly.

How to Connect
The ROCCi pathway will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days per week including statutory holidays. It is hoped that it will eventually be a 24/7 line.
