Format: real-time videoconferencing off-site – may be at a hospital videoconference location or from a personal computer

Based on:

Equipment used: hospital videoconferencing facilities or a computer with appropriate hardware and software installed. You must sign up for rounds at least 10 days before the session takes place.

These courses may be accessed throughout BC as long as minimal technology requirements are met

Topics covered:

A list of rounds and the contact person/technician for connecting to the rounds presentation so that the physician and their local coordinator/technician can link into specific departmental rounds.

Learning objectives:

Specialists attend rounds that are most beneficial to them, including rounds in other disciplines of interest. This “cross-fertilization” will help with interdisciplinary learning.
