Located in northwest British Columbia amidst mountains and spectacular scenery is the remote community of Dease Lake. Once a Hudson’s Bay trading post and major transportation route for trappers and traders, Dease Lake today is a government service and supply centre for the regions, as well as the departure point for adventure rafters. This is the land of the Tahltan First Nations people who are world renowned for their Tlingit/Tahltan art. The vast, pristine wilderness around Dease Lake creates wonderful opportunities for outdoor recreation, including lake and river fishing, hunting, canoeing and kayaking.
