Financial Sponsorship to Attend Conferences
REAP sponsors UBC medical students and residents to attend national and provincial rurally-focused medical conferences and event each year.
Medical students are selected from the UBC Family Medicine Interest Group’s Rural Night. Family Medicine residents in urban training sites are usually chosen based on the recommendation of their Site Directors. Family Medicine residents affiliated with an RSA Community or training in an Indigenous training site, may be eligible for funding through REAP’s Rural Resident CME Program.
This club integrates rural residents and undergraduate medical students with rural faculty in collaboration with the UBC Family Medicine Interest Group.
