UBC Rural Continuing Professional Development (RCPD), with the support of the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc), is working with and on behalf of rural physicians to support CME/CPD needs of rural healthcare professionals in BC.
RCPD aims to educate physicians “closer to home” and follows the tenet of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC), “education for rural physicians, by rural physicians.”
RCPD helps rural physicians build relationships with other rural physicians and healthcare professionals. It engages local and/or regional GPs, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals with advanced expertise to teach learners in their usual context of healthcare delivery.
RCPD also supports technology-enabled teaching solutions to facilitate delivery of CPD delivery at a distance.
Several RCPD-developed courses are listed on this web site. Click here to view them now.
