The Post-COVID-19 Recovery Clinic Referral Quick Reply pathway for providers enables rural providers to quickly and easily access the St. Paul’s Hospital referral form for patients who are recovering from COVID-19. Once the referral form is completed, patients will be contacted and scheduled for a virtual appointment with the Post-COVID Recovery Clinic at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. This clinic, developed by Providence Health Care and part of PHSA’s Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network, provides access to post-COVID care, services, and education through a novel mix of on-site and telehealth-enabled clinics that allow for multidisciplinary engagement with patients, general practitioners, allied health professionals, and sub-specialists.
Rural providers simply click on the Real-Time Virtual Support (RTVS) Post-COVID-19 Recovery Clinic Referral Zoom contact to start the referral process. The Zoom call will go through to someone who will assist you with the process.
The service is available to rural healthcare providers Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Zoom contact postcovidclinic@rtvs-bc.ca or through phone at 604-806-8037.
If you have a Zoom account from RCCbc, the RTVS Pathways Contacts are prepopulated and ready to go.
To view them:
If you have a Zoom licence from your Health Authority or PHSA, you will need to add the RTVS Pathways Contacts manually.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your contact request to be accepted, so the contact will show as “pending” until then.
If you need help getting started with RTVS or accessing a Zoom account, visit our Getting Started section or email virtual@rccbc.ca.
