Sharing rural research
One of the main objectives of BCRHRx is to promote rural health research projects in British Columbia. To do this, RCCbc welcomes researchers, clinicians and trainees (students) to present their ongoing and/or completed rural health research in a concise, visually interesting and rapid presentation style. Everyone is welcome to join the sessions and to ask questions and network with the presenters. The sessions will also be recorded and available to view afterwards.
The 2023 event went ahead on Wednesday, November 29.

In 2023, the BCRHRx featured 24 presentations from across B.C., touching on topics such as mental health, rural transport, health technologies, COVID-19 and much more. The unique format saw each presenter speak to their research for 10 minutes, followed by five minutes of Q&A facilitated by our moderators. The event began with a welcome from the Rural Coordination Centre of BC’s Scientific Directors. Recordings from the two Zoom Rooms (A & B) are available below. Download the program here.
