Q: Where do you live?
A: Prince George, British Columbia.
Q: What is your position at RCCBC?
A: I am the Rural Programs Liaison for Northern Health.
Q: What does that mean?
A: I help the Ministry of Health and Northern Health administer the programs and incentives that rural physicians have access to with their position in the health authority.
Q: Describe RCCbc in three words.
A: Connected, friendly, inclusive.
Q: What motivated you to join RCCbc?
A: I was introduced to RCCbc when I applied for my position, I had honestly heard very little about them before even working in healthcare. RCCbc supports my role and the work I do helping rural physicians.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Having a provincial connection to my peers and a wider network to help solve problems that arise for rural physicians.
Q: What has been your proudest moments working with RCCbc?
A: Attending the last core meeting in December 2022. Meeting everyone and seeing the passion in the room was amazing!
Q: What do you like to do on your days off?
A: During the summertime, I enjoy gardening and sitting by the fire. During winter, I like to hibernate watching movies on the couch at home.
Q: What is the next item on your bucket list?
A: I would love to travel through Iceland, Ireland and Scotland.
