Get to know Angela Hennig
Q: Where do you live?
A: I live on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territory of the Syilx Nation, in Kelowna.
Q: What is your position at RCCBC?
A: I’m the Rural Programs’ Liaison for the Interior Health region.
Q: What does that mean?
A: I am a main point of contact for anyone who has questions about Rural Programs or anyone who would like to learn more about the programs. I am also supporting the administration of many of the programs.
Q: Describe RCCbc in three words.
A: Connected, progressive, engaging.
Q: What motivated you to join RCCbc?
A: My main motivation to join RCCbc is to really make a difference and to support rural communities and their physicians.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: At RCCbc we are all truly committed and passionate about rural health care and we continue to collaboratively thrive and support rural communities in many ways.
Q: What has been your proudest moments working with RCCbc?
A: It has been a little over a year since we started as Rural Programs’ liaisons and it is amazing to look back and to see what we have accomplished in such a short amount of time as well as the relationships we have built. I’m excited to see what comes next!
Q: What do you like to do on your days off?
A: Volleyball, reading, yoga, horseback riding, spending time in nature
