Rural POCUS Congress

May 23 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Our first Rural Point-of-Care Ultrasound Skills (POCUS) Congress will be happening on May 23, one day before the annual Rural Health Conference. Join us in Whistler, BC for our full-day event focusing on POCUS skills and applications. This event will consist of 5 hours of live scanning stations and key talks on various topics, such as cardiology, MSK, ocular, and more.

Our goal for our learners is to provide them with increased confidence in their POCUS skills and meaningful connections through sharing the spark and passion for POCUS innovation within the POCUS community.

This event is intended for POCUS users at any skill level, from beginner to advanced.

Audience: Rural family physicians, specialists and nurse practitioners.

New rural physicians may be eligible for funding to attend the event with the New Rural Physician CME Program. Read the specific criteria for this funding avenue.

This event is hosted by the Rural Coordination Centre of BC and supported by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC).
