Key Speakers
Dr. Ilona Hale was born and raised in the mining town of Lively in Northern Ontario; she now works as clinical researcher and a rural family physician in Kimberley, BC. In this session, Dr. Hale will discuss practical ways for providers to reduce their footprint in rural clinical practice. The presentation will largely be based on the Planetary Health for Primary Care resource that Dr. Hale created.
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by UBC CPD for up to 1 Mainpro+® credits.
