Executive Director, RTVS

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, RCCbc, the Executive Director is the single accountable leader for the RTVS program. The Executive Director sets the program direction required to translate RCCbc and partner priorities into a coherent strategy and operating agenda. The Executive Director leads the RTVS leadership team and is responsible for the overall performance, sustainability and integrity of the program.

Director, Clinical Supports, RTVS

Reporting to the Executive Director, RTVS, the Director, Clinical Supports provides strategic and operational leadership for the RTVS program’s clinical pathways and provider-support services. Leading a multidisciplinary team this role ensures the effective integration of clinical practice, physician services, frontline operations, and technical support. The Director is responsible for the overall performance, sustainability, and integrity of the Clinical Supports Team, ensuring services are accountable, efficient, and aligned with RTVS priorities to support healthcare providers serving rural, remote, and Indigenous communities across BC.

Director, Innovation and Quality Improvement, RTVS

Reporting to the Executive Director, RTVS, the Director, Innovation + Quality Improvement leads the identification, assessment, prioritization, development, and evaluation of RTVS improvement and innovation work. The Director maintains the complete project and improvement portfolio, provides direction to Senior Project Coordinators and the Faculty and Development Outreach department to advance the cultural-safety, education, simulation, and relational culture mandate.

Rural Scholar, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia

The Department of Family Practice within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a part-time (0.2 FTE) position of Rural Scholar. In partnership with the Rural Coordination Centre of British Columbia, we are accepting applications for established clinicians in British Columbia to develop experience and skills in Rural Scholarship through the Rural Scholars Program. There are up to 2 positions available and it is anticipated that these will be distributed over the rural areas of British Columbia.
