Get to know Jenny

Q: Where do you live? 

A: Vancouver, BC.

 

Q: What is your position at RCCBC? 

A: I’m a CHARLiE (Child Health Advice in Real-Time Electronically) physician, a co-lead for SPRUCe  (Sustaining Pediatrics in Rural and Underserved Communities) and a core member.

 

Q: What does that mean?   

A: This means that I get support and have the opportunity to make connections which facilitate work to support pediatrics in rural and remote communities in BC.

 

Q: Describe RCCbc in three words.   

A: Dynamic, Supportive, Engaged.

 

Q: What motivated you to join RCCbc?   

A: At the first meeting with RCCbc, I was motivated to be involved in the organization. This is a dynamic organization which approaches issues with a “can do” attitude and looks to understand what the opportunities are possible, and do not get dissuaded when challenges occur.

 

Q: What do you like most about working at / with RCCbc?

A: The opportunity to connect and learn.

 

Q: What do you like to do on your days off?

A: Running with my husband and dog.

 

Q: Where is your favourite place in British Columbia?

A: Sakinaw Lake on the Sunshine Coast.
