The COVID-19 pandemic prompted the establishment of seven virtual care pathways in British Columbia and Indigenous communities to address healthcare disparities. These pathways facilitated 38,905 patient encounters and demonstrated significant growth, with 90% patient satisfaction and 94% provider satisfaction, indicating their effectiveness in improving healthcare access in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas.
