Rural Education Action Plan
The Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) supports the training needs of physicians in rural practice and provides undergraduate medical students and post-graduate residents with rural practice experience. It also increases rural physician participation into the medical school selection process. REAP is managed by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues and categorizes its programs by rural practitioners, residents and learners.

Rural doctors, including locums, practicing in British Columbia have a number of REAP programs and bursaries to select from to improve their education and skills.
REAP for Residents
Numerous programs and bursaries are available through REAP to support medical residents in British Columbia.
