SPRUCe | Snooze and Soothe: Practical Strategies in Pediatric Sedation and Analgesia

SPRUCe will host a CME accredited session via Zoom with Dr. James Harris and Dr. Jenny Retallack.
- Dr. James Harris MD, FRCPC is a general pediatrician based in Fraser Health and a clinical associate in the PICU at BCCH and the NICU at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
- Dr. Jenny Retallack MD, FRCPC is a general pediatrician and a clinical associate in the PICU at BCCH.
Using case-based discussions, their presentation will:
- Discuss the goals of therapy
- Review opportunities to optimize patient and environmental factors
- Identify an approach to sedation and analgesia for clinical scenarios including: procedural sedation, induction/intubation, non-invasive and invasive ventilation, and transport
- Provide resources for further reference
