Join us this spring for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, led by Dr. Rahul Gupta. Rahul is physician of South Asian descent, Certified MBSR Teacher, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. 

 

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program 

 

Join us this spring for the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, part of the Mindfulness in Medicine initiative. Led by Dr. Rahul Gupta, this 8-week course welcomes rural BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) healthcare providers. Through practicing mindfulness, you can restore vitality and agency, recognize implicit bias, better handle uncertainty, and improve decision-making skills. The course starts every Tuesday from 6:30-9:00 pm on May 7th to June 25th, with an all-day class on June 15th from 9:00-4:30 pm. The sessions will be held online via Zoom, and the program is free of charge. 

 

Past participants have reported life-changing experiences and improved interactions in their professional and personal lives. To apply for the MBSR program, please fill out the application form.
