BC Rural healthcare teams are invited to apply for the 2025/26 Quality Team Coaching for Rural BC (QTC4RBC) 2025/26 cohort, led by Drs. Rahul Gupta, Cecile Andreas, and Tom Wright.
QTC4RBC is a coaching program that empowers teams to regroup and reconnect with their purpose and take steps toward building their desired team culture and advancing their chosen goals. When healthcare teams are able to rekindle joy and meaning in their work, they are more able to create a positive work environment, optimize their team’s performance, and increase the quality and safety of care for patients.
Teams enrolled in the program will participate in:
• A one-day in-person coaching workshop
• Up to four 1.5-hour virtual coaching sessions
• Up to three leadership coaching sessions
• Ongoing resources and support to support the team’s goals
Eligibility Requirements:
• Open to all rural healthcare teams in BC, with priority for RSA A or B communities.
• Teams must be interprofessional, with at least 20% consisting of physicians (or one physician for teams under eight members).
• Required participation of one clinical leader and one operational leader, each with decision-making authority.
• Up to 12 team members can participate.
• Team attendance and active participation for the duration of this program is required.
Key Dates:
• In-person workshops scheduled from April to September 2025.
• Virtual coaching sessions through till March 2026.
To apply, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form with letters of support from a clinical and operational leader by January 31, 2025. If your EOI is successful, team leads will be invited in a discovery conversation to determine if the program is the right fit for your team.
