The West Coast General Hospital (WCGH) Perinatal team has implemented a postpartum escape room as a team-building and skill-development initiative. Participants must solve a simulated postpartum hemorrhage scenario, and the portable and adaptable nature of the escape room allows for future use and expansion to other healthcare settings.

The official launch of the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine’s Remote Communities Drone Transport Initiative, a pilot project funded by the 2020 TD Ready Challenge, took place on October 13, 2021, aimed at improving health equity in rural, remote and Indigenous communities.
