The Indigenous Medical Education Gathering (IMEG) is a three-day event centred on connection, ceremony, and reflection, guided by Elders and Indigenous health leaders. From teachings at c̓əsnaʔəm to shared circles at the Musqueam Cultural Centre, the gathering created space for healing, storytelling, and community.

Dr. Rahul Gupta’s journey into mindfulness began with a deep personal connection to his heritage and evolved into a transformative practice in his medical career. Through integrating mindfulness into both his life and medical practice, he has seen firsthand how it can support both healthcare providers and patients in healing and stress regulation.
