The Rural Voices Initiative builds on the success of the Rural Voices Gathering, empowering communities across BC to lead their own healthcare solutions. Through locally driven partnership tables, residents, Indigenous leaders, and healthcare providers collaborate to address challenges and create lasting change. “When communities take the lead, real change happens,” says Alice Muirhead, RCCbc’s Director of Outreach and Engagement.

Dr. Rahul Gupta’s journey into mindfulness began with a deep personal connection to his heritage and evolved into a transformative practice in his medical career. Through integrating mindfulness into both his life and medical practice, he has seen firsthand how it can support both healthcare providers and patients in healing and stress regulation.
