The CARE Course

The CARE Course (Comprehensive Approach to Rural Emergencies) is a traveling two-day program that provides interactive hands-on learning in a fun, warm and supportive inter-professional environment. Medical, trauma, obstetric and paediatric emergency management are featured. Appropriate to the realities of rural practice, this small group program supports the teamwork and skills enhancement needed to provide rural emergency care.

The CARE Course is accredited for:
21 Mainpro+ Certified Activity credits and 31.75 Certified Assessment credits
14 EMALB credits for pre-hospital care providers
21 Quality Assurance and/or Professional Development credits for Nurses and NPs
