Rural POCUS Congress 2026

Join us at the second Rural Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Congress on May 28, one day before the annual Rural Health Conference. Join us in Prince George, BC for our full-day event focusing on enhancing proficiency in POCUS.

Our goal is to provide learners with an opportunity to increase confidence in their POCUS skills and make meaningful connections through the shared spark and passion for innovation within the POCUS community. This event is intended for POCUS users at any skill level, from beginner to advanced.

New rural physicians may be eligible for funding to attend the event with the New Rural Physician CME Program. Read the specific criteria for this funding avenue.

Accreditation

The Division of Continuing Professional Development, University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Continuing Medical Education Accreditation Committee (CACME) to provide CPD credits for physicians. This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by UBC CPD. You may claim a maximum of 6.0 hours (credits are automatically calculated). This activity meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by UBC CPD for up to 6.0 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits. Each physician should claim only those credits accrued through participation in the activity.
