Coming Soon

The ROCCi team includes rural internists and intensivists. When the line launches on October 15, 2024, the pathway will provide internal medicine and critical care support that is tailored specifically for rural healthcare providers.

Support includes:

  • help with assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients;
  • internal medicine assessment;
  • help with procedures that are less familiar to you;
  • a second set of eyes;
  • help in navigating the healthcare system including patient transfer;
  • providing collaborative support;
  • running through simulation scenarios;
  • other situations as needed by rural providers

Nurses at nursing outpost stations can call ROCCi directly.

Visit the RUDi (Emergency),  MaBAL (Maternity and Newborn) and CHARLiE (Pediatrics) pages for more information on the other Instant Access pathways for providers in rural and remote BC.
